A sculptural side table that expresses an intuitive and organic design language, where tactile and haptic qualities give a visual and sensory experience. Rotben is created using black stained ash with a surface sculpted and sawn by chain saw. The resulting rough, morphing, and twisting shape gives an air of mystery and hints at the curiosities found in nature. The sharp, angular table top is in direct contrast with the organic body creating tention within the design.
